The journey of my involvement with CdM has been a fascinating evolution from a potential customer to a principal shareholder. It began in 2019 at the Cannes boat show when I first encountered CdM's people and explorer yachts. The allure of their craftsmanship and technical prowess caught my attention, particularly during my exploration of the engine room and the layout of the vessel. This initial encounter sparked a desire to eventually own a CdM yacht.

Fast forward to the tumultuous times of the Covid pandemic, while quarantined with my family in Mallorca, discussions about embarking on a world cruise ensued. This prompted me to initiate negotiations with CdM, ultimately resulting in the purchase of a Flexplorer 146 in mid-2020. My decision was influenced by the innovative design and functionality of the Flexplorer platform, which perfectly suited our needs for global travel. Additionally, the thorough inspection by my surveyors confirmed my initial impression of CdM's exceptional quality.

My involvement with CdM took another turn when I decided to become the principal shareholder of the company. Having developed a strong bond with CdM's management during the construction of my yacht, I was presented with the opportunity to invest in the company at the end of 2021. While conducting due diligence was crucial, my decision was ultimately guided by intuition, bolstered by my positive experiences with CdM and full confidence in their management team.

My vision for CdM revolves around maintaining its position as a leader in the explorer yacht market while preserving its reputation for quality and customer satisfaction. Limiting production to a maximum of five yachts per year reflects our commitment to excellence and ensuring each customer receives personalized attention. Furthermore, my perspective as a yacht owner allows me to advocate for the integration of features and services that cater to the needs and desires of CdM's clientele.
