Pazienza: A New Chapter Begins in Australia
The RJ115 Pazienza, delivered in 2024, is making waves in Australia. Designed inside and out by the Francesco Paszkowski, this luxury explorer yacht is set for an exciting journey ahead.
After enjoying the Summer in the Mediterranean, the owner had Pazienza transported on the Seven Star ship Happy Diamond, departing from Genoa and arriving in Newcastle, NSW, after an approximately 60-day journey.
From there, the yacht sailed north to the Gold Coast, braving 50-knot winds and 5-7 metre seas without hesitation. For a 35-metre luxury yacht, such conditions would typically be daunting, but Pazienza proved exceptional. The yacht showed an extraordinary level of stability and resilience. The captain and crew, thoroughly impressed, not only felt safe but were extremely satisfied with Pazienza's unwavering performance.
On a calm Summer morning we arrived to Newcastle Yacht Club (Australia) to unload MY Pazienza from Seven Star ship Happy Diamond. Taking Pazienza to Gold Coast the same day was important as owner had plans for Pazienza onboard with friends that weekend. And more importantly Weather station had forecast 50 Knot plus winds and seas 5-7 metres. We needed to depart asap.
This did not concern me as I had been onboard Pazienza in the Med and also was previously Captain on another CdM. We made the trip in these conditions and arrived safely intime for the party.
I don't know of any other Yachts that could safely handle these conditions.
Now peacefully docked at the Marina Mirage marina, her official homeport, Pazienza will remain there for the coming months avoiding the risks of the cyclone season in the South Pacific.
Upcoming Voyages
Exciting journeys ahead! Right after the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in late May, Pazienza will set off on an adventure, cruising thousands of miles to Fiji and then on to Samoa.
And that's just the beginning—plans for the first year also include an unforgettable exploration of Australia's stunning Kimberley region, covering even more miles of breathtaking coastline.
